Mrs Eva Jones came to Ballytrea today to prepare the children for evacuation. Everyone was dressed up and looked fabulous. P.3, 4 and 5 learned about the reality of leaving home and family behind for the safety of the country. They also found out more information about rationing, the blackout and air raids. It was a really educational day; thanks to all the parents for their support in sending the children in costume.
