On Wednesday the boys and girls at school enjoyed celebrating the wonderful learning and topic themes which they have been studying in World Around Us.
Primary 1 and 2 pupils have been studying The Seaside, so came to school dressed in their favourite beachwear. Mrs Purvis really enjoyed herself and was spotting lounging and eating ice cream behind the windbreakers!
Primary 3, 4 and 5 pupils have been studying Pirates. There were many fierce and angry looking pirates looming around school throughout the day, and we’re not talking about the teachers!
Primary 6 and 7 pupils have been studying Farming in school, and enjoyed their day celebrating the various elements of this topic. Their day started by viewing some vintage and modern machinery, followed by making butter and drinking milkshakes, whilst the highlight was definitely the end of the day where they took part in some farm themed games.
It was great to see the boys and girls enjoy learning and celebrating their various themes together; definitely a highlight of the year so far!
