The boys and girls in P3 and P4 were delighted to start their ‘Trout in the Classroom’ project with Jillian from the Ballinderry Rivers Trust today!
Over the coming weeks and months, the children will set up a small hatchery in the classroom with fish eggs and look after them until the little fish are ready to be released back into the Ballinderry River system.
The children will also be learning all about the Ballinderry River and its importance to our local area.
