This week the children in Foundation stage have been exploring length. They have been making long and short snakes with play-dough and beads. They have made tall and short towers with cubes and bricks. They have compared things that are long with things that are longer and things that are shorter. Also as part of our food topic, during play they planted their bean seeds. As the bean plants grow they will measure them and compare them to see who has the tallest and shortest bean plants!
