The boys and girls in P6 & P7 were delighted to be treated to some Chilli Beef Pasta on Friday, when Liz from the Livestock and Meat Commission came into school!
Liz demonstrated cooking a recipe using Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assured Beef and encouraged the children to sample what was cooked.
She talked to the children about the ingredients used, with the emphasis on choosing local food, cooking from scratch, and of course how the ingredients used will contribute to a healthy diet.
