Today, it was the turn of Harry, from Serve Youth, a Christian Youth organisation.
Harry led our assembly this morning, and told the children about the amazing work that Serve are doing, both here in N. Ireland and further afield!
He also spoke to the children about their upcoming ‘Christmas Hope Project’, where Serve Youth are trying to fill shoe boxes with various important items that can be taken out to children who have been affected by the war in Ukraine.
As a school community we really want to help out, so are asking our pupils, families and wider school community to help in any way they can, particularly by donating various items that we can use to fill some showboxes.
Items include:
* Toothbruses and Toothpaste * Soaps and Shower Gel * Hats, Scarves and Gloves * Teddies or Small Toys * Face Cloths * Hairbrushes and Bobbles
If you are able to donate any items, we ask that you please leave them into school by Tuesday 7th November 2023. We will then pack some shoe boxes which can be transported to Ukraine in time for Christmas.
