Our pupils in Key Stage 2 had a very special morning today, as they travelled to Cove Manor Nursing Home to spread some cheer by singing Christmas Carols to the residents. ????
It was lovely for the children to spend time talking with the residents, and to see that there is much more to Christmas than the giving and receiving of gifts. It was also lovely to chat with some of the residents who have connections past and present at our school.
To see our children be so respectful and caring toward the residents was wonderful.
