Buddy 🧸 is back on his travels!
This weekend, Buddy is off to stay with Matthew (P7)!
Matthew is a wonderful young man. He loves the outdoors and has a knowledge of the world around him, that I have never seen in someone so young before. ðŸŒðŸŒ²ðŸ„
He is determined and brave, and is always willing to give things a go.
However, these were not the only traits that shone brightly from Matthew on our school trip to the Share Discovery Village this week.
‘Selflessness is when another’s happiness is more important than your own!’
On our residential, Matthew was continually selfless. If ever one of his classmates was having a difficult moment or they were worried about trying something new, Matthew was always the first there with a helping hand and an encouraging word.
It would have been easy for Matthew to carry on and prioritise his own enjoyment, however time and time again, he stopped whatever fun he was having to help and encourage his classmates.
Matthew, what a wonderful trait this is to have. Mrs Craig, Miss Crossett and I were so proud of you, and I have no doubt your encouragement and reassurance also meant a lot to your friends!
