The foundation stage class have been learning all about the signs of winter. They have also been learning through play about the animals and people who live in cold lands. They have made polar animals using playdough, made winter pictures using chalk and had a go at making their own mosaic penguins. They have tried to build houses in cold lands using lego and wooden blocks. They had lots of fun splashing about and playing with the ice and polar animals in the water tray! Some children really enjoyed trying to make their own book about arctic animals at the writing table too.
